Victoria Garcia

Foundation Director

Victoria is the Director and co-founder of Positive Change Via Me Inc. She believes in the importance of instilling values and exposing others to a variety of activities which helps to raise awareness. She is motivated to make a major life change one person at a time. Ms. Garcia is divorced and a proud mother of five sons and seven grandchildren. Born and raised in Pennsylvania Victoria moved to the State of Delaware over thirty years ago to raise her family.

Victoria has worked in various jobs from real estate, consumer sales, postal services and corporate business at Verizon (formally Bell Atlanta and Diamond State) for over 27 years. While employed at Verizon she held many positions being promoted from an associate position into management. Prior to working for others, Victoria owned and operated several consumer businesses.

While working at Verizon Ms. Garcia volunteered and served on the local board of an Employee Resource Group, Consortium of Information and Telecommunication Executives (501c) as the Membership chair. In this leadership position, she was key in membership retention, expanding the membership base which resulted in a dramatic increase of revenue for the organization. Victoria also empowered her team and raised their level of accountability to reach out to potential members. She revised processes that raised awareness of the organization by restructuring the previous by-laws to incorporate new measurements of excellence.

Ms. Garcia volunteered and served on her local civic association board. She served as the secretary and treasurer for more than five years.

Ms. Garcia is a survivor of and a strong advocate against domestic violence. Wanting to help others that have been through difficult times has been a passion of hers. Victoria and her two partners established the organization to help mentor and provide support to all individuals that find themselves at a crossroad in their lives. It will also assist them with self empowerment, self esteem and self awareness.

Ms. Garcia holds an Associate in Business Administration from Pierce College, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Applied Technology from Drexel University, a Master’s degree from Wilmington University in Organizational Leadership.

Victoria pays tribute to the accomplishments of the many organizations past and present that are trailblazers in this industry. She will strive for excellence to propel PCVM Inc. to great heights improving the lives of others and helping them to succeed and fulfill their dreams.
